1957 Gibson EM-150 Mandolin
This acoustic/electric mandolin is in on consignment from a dear customer and friend of ours. Spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, mahogany neck, brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Priced low to make it even more appealing. All original except for the pickup that was replaced (by us) with a custom-made Seymour Duncan. Original pickup was kinda weak but is included in the case for anyone wanting to attempt a repair. Two well closed and stable top cracks under the bridge that were repaired by us over and older repair. Recent frets dress and setup done by us. Overall a fine playing and sounding electric mandolin that is also quite a looker! You’re likely to turn some heads when you’ll step on stage with this one strapped on.
